Permaculture comes to school!
In 2023, Graine de Carotte is working with pupils and teachers at the Ecole des Glacis in Geneva to set up an educational vegetable garden.
In the heart of Geneva, behind the prestigious Ecole des Glacis, there was a small area of the schoolyard that we transformed into an educational garden.
Throughout the year, students had the opportunity to learn the principles of permaculture and living soil gardening.
Comprising 2 sessions, our training program aims to give students an overview of nutrition, food production and the construction and preservation of a biotope..
Alongside this support for the pupils, we have also offered training for teachers to enable them to quickly become autonomous in terms of the work to be done and the running of a permaculture educational vegetable garden.
